willows.\u00a0 With the first signs of spring they appear.\u00a0\u00a0 My mother loved them too and she would take some into the house each year to put in a vase with daffodils.\u00a0\u00a0 I also remember having a &#8220;nature table&#8221; in primary school and we would watch as the pussy willows on the table gradually sprouted into pale green leaves.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.couttsweb.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/IMG_8162.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1413\" alt=\"IMG_8162\" but my eye landed on some pussy willows this morning as I had was out with the dog quite early.\u00a0 It had been raining in the night and there were drops of water sparking in the morning sun on the Hatton has a wonderful display of snowdrops.\u00a0 I think there are more than ever this year.\u00a0 Perhaps it is the mild winter.\u00a0 I was too lazy today to get down with my big camera to snap the snowdrops, but my mobile phone did quite a good job.\u00a0 the two close ups were taken on a table in the house to allow me to get very close.<\/p>\n<p><a
