Yesterday’s sunshine took us for a wee walk on the beach at Peterhead Bay.  It was low tide, the sand was lovely and Maisie our 1 year old granddaughter had a wonderful time, especially when She took Lily the dog for a walk. (or was it the other way round?)

Lily and I have gone for many a walk along that and other beaches and Lily appears in many of my landscape pictures. I just wish I could persuade her to sit, stand, run, smile at the right time and in the right place.

The weather was not so good last weekend When we went to the Dundee Alsatian & Training Club dog show at Camperdown Park.   Drizzle and mud, but the dogs and their handlers had a great time.  And Lily came away with a second place rosette!!!!

I took lots of pictures of the dogs going through their paces.  Here are just a few.  I especially like pictures of the handlers interacting with their dogs, but things move so quickly you have to snap what you can. If you are interested you can see the set of pictures HERE.
