After a week of warm sunny weather the rain has come back to Hatton.  I have enjoyed being out and about with my camera in the sunshine.  Everything seems to sparkle and colours are  vibrant.  It also helps that at this time of year the countryside is so green and there are lots of wild flowers about.

Today by contrast the rain is making everything  grey and flat.   Just to remind me of the sunny days,  I am posting a picture of a swing which children have put up over a little burn in Hatton.  Although the ground is a bit wet and muddy from the torrential thunder storm we had during the night before,  the picture says summer to me.

Anyone for a swing?
