Although I have been living in the area for a number of years and have been visiting Peterhead usually every week, I have not taken time to look at the harbour.  Things were quiet on Sunday as I decided to have a look round.   Fishing boats and harbours are always good subjects for photographs and Peterhead is no exception.  This quick shot of a few boats is framed with the pile of fishing nets lying on the quayside.  Unfortunately there is also a dirty white bag there as well, spoiling the composition.

The light was a bit flat that day with no sky detail to be seen.  I am planning another Peterhead calendar this year so I am sure I will be back to the harbour.
