This picture of the old bridge over the River Ythan at Ellon looks as if it is in a very rural setting, but in fact when I took this picture I had taken just a few steps from my car which was  in a car park right in the middle of town.   I carefully positioned myself to make sure that no cars, roads or footpaths were visible.

This makes me think about the pictures of houses for sale which appear on websites and schedules.  The photographs are taken to show the property at its best and until you visit, you may not see what is next door or over the road.  They say that the camera never lies….but it can be selective.
